Bread Pudding

This is a great traditional British recipe to use up stale (but not mouldy!) bread.

Ingredients:

Method:

Preheat the oven to 350F/180C/Gas mark 4.

Grease an 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm) cake pan.

Break the bread into suitable sized pieces (about an inch square) into a mixing bowl.

Pour over the milk and give the mixture a good stir.

Leave for 30 minutes so the bread becomes well soaked with the milk.
